Deadlines
The Awards Committee of EC-Council University has established the following deadlines for submitting nominations:
- Application Deadlines:
Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis. Students may begin programs during any of our 6 enrollment periods each year. Enrollment Periods are defined as the start date of each Term, Spring 1&2, Summer 1&2, and Fall 1&2. Application for Fellowship must be submitted at least 45 days prior to the desired Enrollment Period.
- Award Announcement
Announcement of Awards are handled on an ongoing basis as well. Student applications will be reviewed and individually responded to.
- Acceptance
Last Day to Inform Graduate College of Acceptance will be 15 days prior to the applicable Term.
Forms
To apply for a University Fellowship, complete the University Application form. In addition, the following documents, which are usually already on file as part of the admission process, will be required by your advisor. If you are in doubt about whether a credential may be missing, consult with your advisor.
- Complete post-secondary transcripts (as of the date of application)
- TOEFL scores (international applicants only)
Rules and Procedures
The Cyber Security Fellowship awards aimed at recruiting outstanding students admitted to EC-Council University. Students who have previously been admitted to EC-Council University are eligible to apply. Students should direct questions about eligibility to their assigned Advisor. Applicants will be reviewed by the Graduate Awards Committee and evaluated for academic excellence on the basis of post-secondary record and other criteria as deemed appropriate by the committee.
University Fellowships offered to incoming masters students are Degree-Plan awards spanning the entire continuous enrollment period.
Terms of the Award
Recipients of the Cyber Security Fellowship will receive a reduced tuition rate of $225 per Credit Hour for the duration of their enrollment in the Masters of Security Science Program. All other fees are the responsibility of the student.
Students supported by these fellowships are required to complete at least 3 credit hours per term unless expressly authorized by the Dean to carry a reduced program.
