Students

The goal of EC-Council University is to promote an environment of active learning with the assistance of qualified and experienced faculty mentors. Active learning recognizes that education is a process where individuals with different learning needs and styles can be accommodated. It emphasizes learning that is meaningful, where individuals are involved in and enjoy the learning process, and where individuals acquire knowledge to better understand and cope with their own careers. The University’s faculty mentors support the adult's active learning role by guiding and stimulating the learning process in one-on-one interaction. Our faculty members recognize individual learning styles and needs, encourage one-on-one contact, and emphasize the relevance of the material to the individual's situation.

Students are provided a variety of materials for each course, including a course outline and detailed syllabus, the list of textbooks and reference materials for the course, and information on how to communicate with the faculty mentor assigned for the course. The faculty member provides guidance, answers questions, and evaluates the individual student’s work. Contact between the student and the faculty mentor is achieved through one or a combination of the following methods: website, email, ECU’s learning management system, telephone, voicemail, fax, video-conferencing, and person-to-person contact.

Our programs are designed to encourage success and develop lifelong learning patterns. Each University course has specific learning objectives and outcomes, contained in the course outline and syllabus, that articulate the educational achievements to be accomplished.

Online Library

EC-Council University offers an online library for its students. The online library boasts hundreds of titles to help students in their study and research work. One of the great features of this online library is that access to resources is unlimited!

Students will enjoy a truly online educational experience with the online library, aiding their anytime anywhere learning. Students will not need to incur additional expense to buy hardcopy books as the resources available are aplenty.

All EC-Council University students will be given access to the online library which is part of the myECCUNI portal.
